Back pain
We offer Naproxen 250mg tablets, a prescription-only medication for the symptomatic relief of mild to moderate lower back pain. Suitable for adults aged 18-65, it is recommended for those with non-specific lower back pain and no suspected complications. The standard dosage is one tablet (250mg) up to three times daily, taken with food, for a maximum of 28 days. Patients with gastrointestinal issues, cardiovascular disease, kidney/liver impairment, pregnancy, or those on contraindicated medications are excluded. We provide comprehensive support for Naproxen under a PGD framework, including regulatory compliance, pharmacy supply, patient engagement strategies, and digital tracking solutions to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Heamorrhoids
We are offering a service to provide short-term relief (up to 7 days) for pain, irritation, and itching associated with haemorrhoids and pruritus ani using cinchocaine hydrochloride suppositories and ointments. This service is available to patients aged 16 and over who meet the inclusion criteria, excluding those with hypersensitivity, pregnancy, breastfeeding, infections, or severe underlying conditions. Treatment involves applying the ointment or inserting suppositories twice daily, accompanied by advice on proper hygiene and self-care measures to manage symptoms. Our healthcare professionals will ensure patient suitability, provide detailed advice, and document all interactions, including any adverse reactions, which will be reported via the Yellow Card scheme. We prioritize patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and ensure our staff are fully trained and competent to deliver this service.

Nausea and Vomiting
We are offering a service to provide treatment for nausea and vomiting, including acute migraine-induced nausea and vomiting, using metoclopramide 10mg tablets. This service is available to patients aged 18-65 who meet the inclusion criteria, excluding those with hypersensitivity, pregnancy, breastfeeding, gastrointestinal obstruction, neurological disorders, or other contraindications.
Treatment involves taking 10mg of metoclopramide up to three times daily, with at least 6 hours between doses. The maximum treatment duration is 2 days, and if symptoms persist, patients should be referred to their GP. Treatment must not be offered more than once a month or three times a year under this PGD.
Our healthcare professionals will assess the patient’s condition, provide detailed advice on potential side effects (e.g., drowsiness, extrapyramidal disorders), and monitor for adverse reactions, which should be reported via the Yellow Card scheme. Follow-up consultations will be scheduled if further treatment is needed, and patients will be referred to their GP if symptoms persist or worsen.
