Hair loss service
We are offering a service to provide treatment for male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) using finasteride 1mg tablets. This service is available to men aged 18 and over who meet the inclusion criteria, excluding those with hypersensitivity, severe liver disease, psychiatric disorders, or other contraindications. Treatment involves taking one tablet daily, with efficacy typically seen after 3-6 months of continuous use. Our healthcare professionals will assess the severity and pattern of hair loss, provide detailed advice on potential side effects, and monitor for adverse reactions, which should be reported via the Yellow Card scheme. We prioritize patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and ensure our staff are fully trained and competent to deliver this service. Patients will also receive guidance on aesthetic options, such as wigs or hairpieces, which may be available at reduced costs or free on the NHS.

Premature Ejaculation
We are offering a service to provide treatment for premature ejaculation (PE) using Priligy® (dapoxetine) 30mg and 60mg film-coated tablets. This service is available to men aged 18 to 64 who meet the inclusion criteria, excluding those with hypersensitivity, significant cardiac conditions, psychiatric disorders, or other contraindications. Treatment involves taking one tablet as needed, 1-3 hours before sexual activity, with a maximum of one dose every 24 hours. Our healthcare professionals will assess the patient’s condition, provide detailed advice on potential side effects, and monitor for adverse reactions, which should be reported via the Yellow Card scheme. We prioritize patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and ensure our staff are fully trained and competent to deliver this service. Patients will also receive guidance on managing side effects, avoiding alcohol and recreational drugs, and the importance of not using Priligy® continuously. Follow-up consultations will be scheduled to reassess the benefit-risk balance of continued treatment.

Smoking Cessation
We are offering a service to support smoking cessation using Cytisine 1.5 mg tablets and Zyban® (bupropion) 150 mg prolonged-release tablets. These treatments are available to patients aged 18-65 (Cytisine) and 18+ (Zyban) who are motivated to quit smoking and meet the inclusion criteria, excluding those with hypersensitivity, pregnancy, breastfeeding, psychiatric disorders, or other contraindications.
-
Cytisine is taken orally over 25 days, with a gradual reduction in dosage, and smoking should cease by the 5th day of treatment. Patients must be highly motivated and willing to set a quit date.
-
Zyban is taken over 7-9 weeks, starting with 150 mg once daily for six days, then increasing to 150 mg twice daily. Patients should set a "target stop date" within the first two weeks of treatment.
Our healthcare professionals will assess the patient’s smoking behavior, provide detailed advice on potential side effects, and monitor for adverse reactions, which should be reported via the Yellow Card scheme. We prioritize patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and ensure our staff are fully trained and competent to deliver this service. Patients will also receive guidance on managing withdrawal symptoms, avoiding alcohol (Zyban), and the importance of adhering to the treatment schedule. Follow-up consultations will be scheduled to reassess the benefit-risk balance of continued treatment.

Erectile Dysfunction
We offer sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, and avanafil, prescription medications for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. Suitable for men 18 years and older with moderate ED (SHIM score 8-16), these medications help achieve and maintain erections for satisfactory sexual performance. The recommended starting doses vary by drug (e.g., sildenafil 50mg, tadalafil 10mg) and should be taken before sexual activity, with frequency based on patient needs. Patients with severe cardiovascular disease, recent stroke/heart attack, severe hypertension, or contraindicated medications are excluded. We provide full support for PGD implementation, including regulatory compliance, pharmacy supply, patient engagement strategies, and digital tracking solutions to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Alcohol reduction
We offer Selincro (nalmefene), a prescription medication designed to help reduce alcohol consumption in adults with alcohol dependence. It is suitable for patients with a high drinking risk level (DRL) who do not require detox or experience withdrawal symptoms. The treatment involves taking one 18mg tablet as needed before drinking, alongside monthly follow-ups and psychosocial support, for up to one year. Certain individuals, including those on opioids, pregnant women, and patients with severe psychiatric conditions or liver/kidney impairment, are excluded. We provide full support for implementing Selincro under a PGD framework, including regulatory compliance, pharmaceutical supply, patient engagement programs, and digital tracking solutions to ensure effective treatment and adherence.
